Installing
The first-launch prompt, explained.
On macOS the signed, notarized build opens like any other app. On Windows the installer isn't signed yet, so Windows asks you to confirm the first time — here's exactly what you'll see and what to click.
The Windows SmartScreen prompt
- 1Because the Windows build isn't code-signed, Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen.
- 2Click “More info”.
- 3Then click “Run anyway” to launch the installer.
- 4This is a one-time confirmation; nothing about your install is different afterward.
